Getting Started
PowerOne calculator excels at repetitive calculations by displaying calculations in templates. Templates are like mini-spreadsheets. Enter the data you know and PowerOne will calculate what you don't. Take this example (feel free to play with the numbers):
Price per Unit = 0.45
Units = 1000
Total = 450
Changing either Price per Unit or Units (select either row and modify its value) will automatically calculate a new Total. Known values are indicated with an [icon--app-equals-known | known value button] button.
You can also work in reverse. Changing Total (select its row and modify its value) will indicate with a [icon--app-unknown-inverse | unknown or unsure value button] button that Price per Unit and Units are unknown. Select [icon--app-unknown-inverse | unknown or unsure value button] on either row to calculate the desired value.
Finally, select the Clear button to return the template to its defaults. That's it!

Library
We provide hundreds of pre-created templates in the Library for you to use.
On iOS, select [icon--app-new | add template] in the template list then **Add From Library** to see the library. Once you find a template you'd like, show the template then tap **+My List** to add it to your list or get started quickly by adding a pack of selected templates.
On the web, select **Library** at the top of the template list, choose a template and either select **+My List** or start using one.

Calculator
PowerOne's calculator allows for free-form calculations in either standard or RPN input mode. Calculator has a wide-range of functions supporting standard math, powers and logs, trigonometry, length, area and volume units, fractions, probability, and programmer's math. It also offers 10 memory locations, a history of results, and template integration.
The calculator is only available on iOS and can be accessed by selecting [icon--app-calculator | calculator button] in the lower, right corner of the list and template views.

Sharing
When you have your template exactly how you want it, share results with friends, clients and co-workers just by sending the results.
From the iOS app, tap [icon--app-more | extras icon] then **Share Results**. The template will appear in an email or, if subscribed, a share sheet will appear with even more options.
On the web, choose [icon--app-more | extras icon] and then **Share Results** to automatically populate an email message in your designated client.
If subscribed you can also share templates with other premium customers. Select [icon--app-more | extras icon] then **Share Template** to email it to others.

Behind the Scenes
Behind the scenes, a very simple language is used to create templates. The language looks much like the template above but also includes equations (and potentially other data) that you cannot see. Equations are written using the same names (called variables) you see above (Price per Unit, Units, Total) and include math symbols and functions that help define the relationship between these variables. Here's what the source looks like:
As you can see, the only difference is the equation row. In this case we are indicating that Total is equal to Price per Unit times Units. We tell it which variables to calculate with this equation and PowerOne takes care of the rest!
