Calculates the maximum number of conductors allowed in the most commonly used raceways. Input the size and type of conductors and the length and type of raceway being used to calculate the minimum size conduit required to accommodate the conductors.
Rows

Conductor 1
- Type: Select the type of conductor to be used. Only select the conductor type for the conductors that will be installed in the conduit. Leave all unused selections blank.
- Size: Select the size of conductor to be used. Only select the conductor size for the conductors that will be installed in the conduit. Leave all unused selections blank.
- #Conductors: Enter the number of each type of conductor that will be installed in the raceway. Only enter the number of conductors for the conductors that will be installed in the conduit. Leave all unused selections blank.
Repeat for Conductors 2 and 3 if applicable.
Result
- Conduit Size: The minimum size conduit required for the number, size and type of conductors selected.
NOTE: CONDUIT LENGTH Chapter 9, Table 1 of the 2014 National Electrical Code allows a conduit to be filled to 40% of its area if the raceway is longer than 24 inches and 3 or more conductors are in the conduit. If the raceway is 24 inches or less in length, Note 4 to Chapter 9, Table 1 allows the conduit to be filled to 60% of its area.
