Help
Calculates the volume of an area with sloped sides based on the dimensions and desired slope (ratio).

Rows
-Length: Length of the area to be excavated.
-Width: Width of the area to be excavated.
-Depth: Depth of the area to be excavated.
-Slope: Slope of the area to be excavated. Choose from ratio. 1-1/2 to 1 means the slope will run 1.5' for each foot of depth.
-Volume: Total volume that will be excavated from this area.
Swell
-Swell: Percentage of swell or the amount of material that will increase after it becomes "loose" from the area in which it was compacted. This is based on soil type.
-Volume: Total volume that will be excavated from this area with a factor added to allow for swell.
Examples
Example 1
Calculate the volume of an area that is 20' wide, 50' in length, 12' in depth with sloped sides based on a 2 to 1 ratio.
-Length: 50ft
-Width: 20ft
-Depth: 12ft
-Slope: 2 to 1
-Swell: 0%
The volume is 1447.11yd³.
Example 2
What is the same area as above if there is a 5% swell?
-Swell: 5.00%
The volume is 1519.47 yd³.
