The easiest way to calculate the alcohol content in your home made wine is with a calculator. You'll need to know the starting specific gravity before fermentation began. You also need the final specific gravity taken once wine has finished fermenting and is stable. Just plug in both values and the Alcohol By Volume (ABV%) will appear.
