Size Of Rectangle
Edge In =
Center Out =
Calculates the distance of the focal points from the edge towards the center or from the center towards the edge along the major axis to the Focal Points.
Contributed by Gary Wiese.
You have a rectangle with a width of 3&1/2in and a length of 7&5/8in.
From the edge along the major axis towards the center to each Focal Point is 7/16in.
\- or -
From the center along the major axis towards the edge to each Focal Point is 3&3/8in.
These two measurements together will equal half the length of the major axis 3&13/16in from the edge of Ellipse at the Minor Axis to the Focal Point on the Major Axis is equal to half the Major Axis.
Area² equals 83.84in² or 0.58ft².
